On this purposeful trek, you will explore Kathmandu's alleyways and discover secret recipes passed down from generation to generation. You will receive exclusive access to heritage sites, mountain trails, and various villages where you can gain insight into the local culture, traditions, and history. You will have ample opportunities to wander through lush forests while admiring picturesque rice fields and terraced landscapes. The sun rising over snow-capped mountains makes for a truly majestic sight that will remain with you long after your journey ends.

Throughout your experience, you will have ample opportunities to learn about Nepali culture first-hand; from observing locals cooking traditional dishes to engaging in conversations with village elders who have years of knowledge and wisdom to share with you. You will take part in activities such as assisting members of the community in projects related to education, health care, and economic development.

You will also be taken to the Seven Women centre, a social enterprise which aims to empower marginalised women. Our RemarkableTransformer, Stephanie Woollard began Seven Women at age 22 after meeting seven disabled women working in a tin shed in Kathmandu. These seven women struggled to make a living in the face of harsh discrimination. With her last $200, Steph paid for trainers to teach the women how to produce products for sale locally and abroad – and Seven Women was born.
