Overview
Greece is a country in southeastern Europe home to hundreds of islands in the Aegean and Ionian oceans. It was influential in ancient times and is sometimes referred to as the cradle of Western culture.
This late summer retreat is on a beautiful unknown island in Greece's Cyclades. Our destination is a small farm of twelve luxury stone cottages located in a green valley overlooking a private beach on the outskirts of a big natural park. This is a serene, unspoiled setting where you will spend a mesmerizing and quiet week of yoga, leisurely living, and simplicity. Jean teaches a soulful and deep dynamic, slow-flow form of yoga. She is known for her unique creative sequencing of postures which helps to draw students and teachers safely beyond limitations. You'll have a 2 hour morning practice where breath work/ pranayama unfolds into a fluid movement and dynamic yoga asana flow. We have 20 places on this retreat in 8 stone houses. The houses feature beautifully simple interior designs with wooden beams, brushed concrete floors and natural fibres. You will be eating Mediterranean food prepared with produce from the organic garden and local farmers. You can expect a Greek-style vegetarian menu with fish options. Note that there is no wifi at this location, so you’ll need to use your data roaming if you want to stay connected.
This retreat is suitable for everyone. It is a quiet beach retreat, with plenty of soulful yoga, self-enquiry, delicious food, and time to relax and enjoy the sunshine.
