Overview
Lapland in Sweden is a winter sanctuary of spectacular beauty and tranquillity. Swedish Lapland is Sweden's most northern province, accounting for approximately a quarter of the country's total land area. The region is recognized as Europe's last wilderness and is home to Sami, Europe's last indigenous people.
One of the most stunning yoga retreat venues in the lonely far north of Swedish Lapland. You'll sleep in exquisite treehouses constructed by Scandinavia's leading architects, tucked high in the treetops of a lovely pine forest. Yoga with Jean Hall, hiking, biking, or foraging in the woods, and relaxing in a forest spa and treehouse sauna. Jean teaches a soulful and deep dynamic, slow-flow form of yoga. She is known for her unique creative sequencing of postures which helps to draw students and teachers safely beyond limitations. You'll have a 2 hour morning practice where breath work/ pranayama unfolds into a fluid movement and dynamic yoga asana flow. Your accommodation is in a unique treehouse and 3 traditional Swedish guesthouse rooms. You will eat vegetarian meals created by our expert local chef team and served in our warm and homely dining room.
Our treehouse retreat has something for everyone. At the same time, yoga is slow flow style and layered so it is suitable for all levels. Most of the treehouses do not have their own showers, you'll need to use the shower block close by. We have added trips for you to explore the Swedish wilderness.
